Tenure-track assistant professor – Coastal Carolina University

This position is for a 9 month tenure-track assistant professor in the Marine Science department. Applicants with expertise in physical oceanography are invited to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to teach introductory level marine science courses, an upper division course in physical oceanography, and elective courses within the applicant’s area of expertise. The applicant is expected to have field experience in the coastal environment. The new faculty member will have the opportunity to be involved in the Coastal Marine and Wetland Studies Master of Science program. The applicant is expected to develop a viable externally funded research program in their specialty actively involving undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in marine science or related field and post-doctoral experience is preferred.
