Join SWMS for a discussion on virtual summer internships. This will be an opportunity to share and discuss best practices for both summer interns and their mentors. What are communication and community building strategies that both mentors and mentees can use to make the most of the internship?

Internships this summer are taking place not just online, but also during multiple crises that disproportionately impact Black people, people of color, and women. How can mentors facilitate compassionate internships in the face of racial trauma and caretaking burdens? How can interns get meaningful experiences this summer?
