Post-doctoral research associate – University of New Hampshire

There is an opening for a post-doctoral research associate at the University of New Hampshire to work on a 3-institution (UNH, Brown University, and Bates College) U.S. DoE-funded project on multi-scale and direct statistical simulation of marine atmospheric boundary-layer turbulence in floating offshore wind farms. Please see the attached advert and the link to the position below. I’d be grateful if you could share this information with suitable researchers.

Successful candidates must be experienced theoretical and computational fluid dynamicists, preferably with a background that encompasses hydrodynamic instability phenomena and turbulence in boundary layer and geophysical flows. Please encourage appropriate candidates to apply here (or contact me directly at   Postdoctoral Research Associate in Theoretical & Computational Fluid Dynamics: PF0817FY24

Note that we also have an opening for a post-doctoral associate to carry out wind-tunnel experiments in the UNH Flow Physics Facility under the supervision of Prof. Chris White in support of this project. (See the attached advert.) Interested applicants can contact and apply directly using the link below:  Postdoctoral Research Associate in Experimental Fluid Dynamics: PF0810FY24
