NASA Speaker Series – MPOWIR Opportunity

MPOWIR is now soliciting applications for the NASA Speaker Series. Participants spend two or three days at NASA presenting their research, exploring career opportunities and touring the Jet Propulsion Laboratory or Goddard Space Flight Center. Here is what past participants have said about their experience:

• “The experience was educational in itself for allowing me my first opportunity to present an hour-long seminar to a scientific group outside of my committee and college, and it allowed me to reflect on ways in which I could improve future seminars.  As it was, the talk seemed well-received and inspired many great conversations to follow.”

• “My presentation was well attended and many interesting and thought-provoking questions were asked.  After the talk I met one on one with numerous scientists, who explained their research and continued to discuss my research as well.”
