MPOWIR at OSM

MPOWIR is hosting several opportunities in conjunction with the Ocean Sciences Meeting, February 2024 (OSM24) in New Orleans, LA. We hope you will join us for any and all of these opportunities. These opportunities are open to anyone interested in MPOWIR, of all genders and career stages.

On Thursday, February 22nd MPOWIR will host a Town Hall Meeting. As MPOWIR approaches several major milestones, and plans for the future, we will spend time both engaging in reflection and looking forward. We hope you will join to share your vision for MPOWIR’s impact and future. Lunch will be served on a first come first serve basis.

To continue our conversation, and connect with MPOWIR colleagues, we will hold a Social on Thursday evening from 7:30pm-9:30pm CST. The location is yet to be determined, but will be within 1 mile of the convention center. Please RSVP here by January 19th if you are interested in attending.

To foster networking connections, collaborations, and support for each other, MPOWIR will host a list of OSM24 presentations (posters, oral presentations, workshops, town halls etc.) by MPOWIR colleagues on the website.
