McGill University – PhD opportunity

Applications are invited for one to two PhD students to join McGill’s Ocean Circulation and Biogeochemistry Research Group (http://www.meteo.mcgill.ca/~palter/McGill/Home.html) . The successful applicant will do field work, data analysis, and use numerical models to understand the physical processes affecting the transport of freshwater, oxygen, nutrients and carbon in the Labrador Sea.

They are seeking students with a BSc or Master’s degree in oceanography, engineering, physics, meteorology or quantitative Earth Sciences. Inquiries should be directed to jaime.palter@mcgill.ca.
