The School for the Environment at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites candidates for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Coastal Physical Oceanography to begin in the fall of 2023. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research and teaching, with interests and experience in promoting diversity.  We seek a physical oceanographer who can interact with biological, chemical, geological and planning colleagues to analyze the effects of storms, sea-level rise, and warming oceans on macrotidal estuaries and coastal oceans. A Ph.D. with post-doctoral experience is required.
