Assistant Professor – State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry

The Dept. of Environmental Resources Engineering in the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry located in Syracuse, NY is looking to identify tenure track Assistant Professor candidates from underrepresented groups (e.g. gender, race) that would be interested and able to support our geospatial graduate program (http://www.esf.edu/ere/graduate/gisce/) and our undergraduate program (http://www.esf.edu/ere/courses.asp). Preference will be given to candidates with at least one engineering degree (at any level) and those having a strong scholarship record (for their career stage). Interested candidates should submit in a single pdf file their CV along with one page cover letter discussing their research and teaching interests and fit in our programs.

The pdf should be emailed to Dr. Giorgos Mountrakis (gmountrakis@esf.edu) as soon as possible, we will start examining candidates this Monday Nov/7th.

Note that this is an informal request to gather potential interest, a formal procedure will follow for selected candidates.
