Research and Post-doc positions – CSIRO

The Centre for Southern Hemisphere Ocean Research (CSHOR) has recently been established at CSIRO in Hobart. CSHOR is a partnership between the Qingdao National Laboratory for Marine Science (QNLM), CSIRO, the University of New South Wales and the University of Tasmania. It has been funded for an initial 5-year term.  The goal of CSHOR is to better understand the role of the southern hemisphere oceans in regional and global climate, from the tropics to the Southern Ocean.

Research Scientist in Southern Ocean Observations (CSIRO) – Closing date:  30 August 2017 

Research Associate in Southern Ocean Dynamics (UNSW) – Closing date:  28 August 2017  

Postdoctoral Fellows (CSIRO, 6 positions) –Closing date:  applications will be considered from 20 August 2017, Tenure:  3 years 

Senior Climate Scientist / Earth Systems and Climate Change Hub Leader – Closing date:  role will remain open until filled
