Postdoctoral Position in Physical Oceanography / Climate Modeling
Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science at the University of Miami.
Applications are invited from candidates with a recent PhD in physical oceanography, climate, or a related discipline. The successful candidate will join a group including both sea-going oceanographers and modelers, who are studying various aspects of the Greater Agulhas System. The postdoctoral researcher will design and implement hypothesis testing numerical experiments with a very high resolution state-of-the-art global climate model, and be expected to analyze the results to study the role of the Agulhas System in 20th century climate change.
This position is available for two years, subject to renewal upon performance, beginning in summer/fall 2012.
