PhD student, postdoc, and research scientist positions – University of California, Davis

The Computational Climate and Ocean Group has moved to the University of California, Davis and there are open PhD student, postdoc, and research scientist positions.  Projects available fall into two streams and their intersection: 1) ocean and climate dynamics, and 2) computational and ML methods for Earth science. Particular emphasis is on large scale ocean dynamics, sea level predictability, and climate modes in conjunction with data-mining, sparse data inference, and transparent ML.
