Pattullo Conference 2019

Registration for the 2019 Pattullo Conference is now open. The Pattullo Conference will be held September 22-25, 2019 at the Airlie Center in Warrenton, Virginia. Conference participants spend time with Senior Leaders developing skills and networks to advance their own career goals.  The format includes a mix of large and small group sessions covering topics such as: strategies for funding, presentation skills, proposal writing, negotiations, and career paths and advice.

The conference is open to female junior scientists at U.S. establishments who self-identify as physical oceanographers. Here junior scientists are those in their final year of graduate school (within 1 year of completing the dissertation), in a postdoctoral position, or in a career-track position for no more than two years. Generous support from our agency sponsors includes funds for all participant travel, lodging and meals.
