Executive Director –  Gaulke Center for Marine Innovation and Technology, OSU

The OSU Division of Research and Innovation, the College of Engineering and the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences are jointly seeking an Executive Director for the newly formed Gaulke Center for Marine Innovation and Technology which was established with a gift from Judy and Mike Gaulke.  The position would also include a faculty appointment joint between COE and CEOAS.  The Director would work with researchers across OSU and beyond to grow efforts to advance ocean exploration and to seek solutions to societally relevant marine issues through the development and application of innovative technologies.  OSU is well-positioned for growth in this area and already has strong programs and a commitment to marine science innovation focused on basic science, exploration, marine energy and environmental and community resilience.
OSU’s has a broad commitment to advancing innovation in science, engineering, and solutions-based research.  Examples of this include the 

Jen-Hsun and Lori Huang Collaborative Innovation Complex for which ground breaking begins in April and OSU’s new strategic plan, Prosperity Widely Shared, with major commitments to research growth.
