Climate Science Summer School – Using Satellite Observations to Advance Climate Models
The Center for Climate Sciences at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, together with NASA’s Earth Science Division, will host its second week-long Summer School on the topic of “Using Satellite Observations to Advance Climate Models” this August. The School will be held at Caltech in Pasadena, California, from August 6-10, 2012. There is room for 25-30 graduate students and postdoctoral researchers to attend, and all expenses are coverd (including international travel if needed). This is a great opportunity for some of the next generation of climate researchers to engage with NASA experts.
Applications can be submitted through the Summer School webpage: http://climatesciences.jpl.nasa.gov/summer-school/2012-school .
The application deadline is Friday July 6, 2012.
