Assistant Professor in the Energy Cluster
Science/ Technology/ Mathematics
As part of a larger investment to create the new Vagelos Institute for Energy Science and Technology, the School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania seeks to add faculty to our newly formed Energy Cluster spanning the natural sciences. We invite applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in one of the following departments: Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, or Physics & Astronomy. Exceptional senior candidates will also be given consideration. The successful candidate will mount an innovative program of fundamental scientific research that impacts our societal energy challenges, broadly defined, and in doing so will forge collaborative links with other Penn scientists and engineers involved in energy research.
