NOAA Women in the Sciences Leadership Workshop

NOAA is proud to be hosting the 7th annual Women in the Sciences Leadership Workshop April 16-17 in Princeton, NJ. This workshop brings together 50 women from the scientific community at large (scientists and those who support them are included).

Women face many leadership challenges at every career stage. This workshop will provide training that builds personal leadership and management skills for success in scientific organizations. This annual workshop started in 2018 and continues to provide women across the nation with skills with a better understanding of their natural work styles, how to work with others, and how to deliver and accept feedback, and emotional intelligence. While NOAA supports this workshop, it is open to all people in sciences who identify as women.

The application period is NOW OPEN and I encourage anyone interested to apply here: https://forms.gle/7Yxw8bQUyoLx5oEJ7Also, please feel free to share this widely! Applications are being accepted until February 23rd and selections will be made by March 5.
